Tear Drop. Monument Valley - (#55)

"We had been traveling all day with an Indian guide in search of "The Tear Drop Arch". As it became late in the day. with temperatures still over 100 degrees. I was beginning to give up hope of finding the elusive arch."

"Tired and very hungry. we did arrive. Opps! My tripod reached. but I was too short. Again. my wonderful husband came to my rescue. holding me up so I could see through the camera. I didn't waste any time composing my picture. from the look on his face. I could tell those few extra pounds I had put on. would limit the time I had."
