Mono Lake - (#64)

"As the water level dropped. as it was drawn for use in Los Angeles. it rose again with a little help from nature and less of mans demands. exposing less of the natural surreal sculpts. There have been many drastic changes over the years. Tufa's. as they are called. are carbonic formations formed due to the underground hot springs which feed into Mono lake with its high density of calcium. The abstract images of almost recognizable forms. stimulate the imagination."
