Teton Springs II - (#50)

"I now know what the term means "Here today. gone tomorrow".

It was late in the evening. with a hint of moist sulfer scent in the air. when I felt the time was right to photograph the hotsprings. The mountain of colorful. turbulent water that rushed from the top to the bottom displayed unique. variable brown to green colors in the multi layered coral like structures.

Although. I spent a couple of days there. I was to find out. that wouldn't be enough. When I went back the next year. the air was dry and hot. The scene resembled a ghostly. chalk-like. nuclear graveyard. The water had chosen another path. The springs were no more."
